Together, We’re Giant

Last Friday, the San Francisco Giants honored four volunteers who have made an extraordinary commitment to St. Anthony’s. Noel Turner & Elena Anaya of our Dining Room, Heather Knox-Sloan of our Clothing Program, and Manu Seif of our Tech Lab stepped up to the plate before the game as the announcer introduced them to the crowd. Together, these volunteers have donated over 35 years of their time to St. Anthony’s, serving meals, clothing families, and bridging the digital divide for low-income & homeless San Franciscans.

The people of this community have been going to bat for St. Anthony’s for over 60 years. Each time a new volunteer walks through our doors to serve a meal or help a guest find a warm coat, we’re reminded that the people of San Francisco are in it together, and together, we’re giant.
