Juliana Terheyden
A native of San Francisco, Juliana is deeply committed to helping the most vulnerable in our community find Hope, Stability, and Renewal. Reporting to CEO Dr. Larry Kwan, Juliana oversees strategic planning and operationalizes key initiatives. A Swiss army tool on the executive team, she has overseen various functions since she began working with St. Anthony’s in 2020, including budgeting, development, and volunteer services.
From 2015 to 2019, Juliana was the Chief Financial Officer at Homebridge, a $30 million nonprofit organization with a staff of over 400 that provides home care to adults with complex health and social needs. During her tenure, she led a build-out of the organization’s financial infrastructure, including growing the finance team, implementing cloud-based payroll and accounting systems, and developing new budgeting and cash flow forecasting tools. Prior to being promoted to CFO, Juliana was the Director of Strategic Planning for Homebridge. In that role, she developed external partnerships, led the organization through a rebranding process, and helped operationalize new services, including the first expansion outside of San Francisco in the organization’s 30-year history.
Prior to joining Homebridge, Juliana was a senior consultant at international investment firm Cambridge Associates, where she advised the boards and senior staff of large nonprofit institutions on the management of their endowment assets. She currently serves on the board of Calvary Nursery School and on the audit committee for the Global Fund for Women, and previously served on the board of The Arc of San Francisco.
Juliana holds a BA from Stanford and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She lives with her husband and three children in San Francisco.
