Joe Klocek
Joe Klocek has lived and worked in the Tenderloin community for 10 years. As someone who benefitted from recovery services at Father Alfred Center, it is Joe’s goal to work closely with others in recovery to help them negotiate the difficult path to stability. Committed to teaching and applying emotional intelligence, personal values, and job readiness skills, Joe works to prepare participants for not only getting a job but thriving on the job.
Joe’s background as a performer and stand-up comic for many years has honed his communication skills. As someone practicing his own recovery, he brings all his knowledge to each person he works with in the community. Empathy, ongoing education and a sense of humor inform Joe’s approach to teaching classes and facilitating trainings at St. Anthony’s.
