Elsie Maurer
Originally from the Seattle area, Elsie moved to Marin in her early teens, eventually spending a year in China and Japan equally, before finally settling in San Francisco in June of 2020. She has two cats, a white/orange tabby named Lady and a tuxedo named Sal, and during her free time she is usually listening to a podcast (from current events to tabletop RPG to pop culture) or reading a book (with a wide range of interests. ) Elsie joined St. Anthony’s STEPS in part because she wants to support the work of the STEPS team, providing the tools and skills needed for our guests to build their pathway to self-sufficiency. Elsie shared, “Being part of an organization that is actively helping our fair city’s citizens is a great honor and one I take pride in.
