This year, St. Anthony’s expects to serve guests with the support of 70 volunteers who will bus tables, serve meals, and most importantly enjoy community and connection with guests.

WHERE: St. Anthony Foundation Dining Room, 121 Golden Gate Ave. near Jones Street, First Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102
WHY: As an organization guided by 800-plus-year Franciscan values, St. Anthony’s believes that on Thanksgiving, and every day, we’re called to serve those most in need with the dignity and respect that each person deserves. At St. Anthony’s, a meal shared in the Dining Room is often the first step on a guest’s journey from instability to hope, stability and renewal. Offering the most accessible, effective one stop resource in the Tenderloin, the foundation provides integrated, whole person services (social, health and spiritual care) including meals, medical care, residential recovery for men, peer support, job training, jobs, and more.
“The need is great all year round, and there’s an extraordinary demand for care in our Tenderloin community during the holiday season,” said Dr. Larry Kwan, CEO, St. Anthony Foundation. “That’s why we feel deeply grateful for our steadfast community of donors and volunteers who make our service to the community possible.”
