SAN FRANCISCO (July 16, 2024) – St. Anthony’s, committed to providing pathways to stability for thousands of San Franciscans in need, today announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. The appointees share a passion for St. Anthony’s vision to create a society in which all persons flourish and further strengthen the board’s expertise in development, addiction and policy.

The new board members are:

  • Yola Ozturk, managing partner and co-founder of March Capital Management, is a distinguished real estate executive with over 27 years of industry experience. In her role, she is deeply involved in all aspects of the development cycle, including acquisition, due diligence, debt financing, entitlement, permitting, architectural design, and construction management. Previously, she was a top-producing real estate agent in San Francisco and served as a management consultant at Mercer Management Consulting and head of product marketing at Fourelle Systems in Silicon Valley. Ozturk holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and computer science from ESIB. Born and raised in Lebanon and France, she is fluent in Arabic and French.
  • Dr. Keith Humphreys, Ph.D., is the Esther Ting Memorial Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. With over 30 years of research on substance use disorders, he has worked to translate scientific findings into more effective addiction-focused treatment services and public policies. Humphreys has extensively contributed to public policy, testifying before U.S. House and Senate committees, serving on the White House Commission on Drug-Free Communities during the Bush administration, and acting as senior policy advisor in the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy under President Obama. His efforts to improve addiction-related services and policies extend internationally to Iraq, Canada, and the United Kingdom. In recognition of his contributions to addiction-related services and scholarship in Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth II appointed him an honorary officer in the Order of the British Empire in 2022.

“We continue to be fortunate to have an outstanding board of directors moving our mission forward to provide essential services and gateways to stability for thousands of San Franciscans in need,” said Dr. Larry Kwan, CEO of St. Anthony’s. “It is an honor to welcome to the board Dr. Keith Humphreys and Yola Ozturk, both of whom are longtime leaders and experts in our community. They will bring a depth of professional experience.”
