One Week, 15 Hours
The STEPS Job Readiness Workshop is a one-week training that provides fundamental employability skills to individuals in the Tenderloin. Participants will gain new skills and leave with a toolkit that will help them find and a keep a job. The week will include classroom instruction, worksheets, group activities, skills assessments, and interactive discussions. Leave with a digital resume and cover letter, enhanced skills, job search strategies for finding and keeping a job, access to free help in getting interview-ready clothing, access to follow-up employment services and one-on-one coaching, a Certificate of Completion, and $100 stipend (for the first 50 people who attend all 15 hours of training.) Participants must be clean and sober and/or in recovery, 18+, and able to work legally in the U.S.
