On The Menu
With a handful of new menu items and various holidays and events to celebrate St. Anthony’s is gearing up for a very exciting month. This weeks menu includes comfort meals and two new options–breaded pork chops and lemon ginger chicken. The first week of February will culminate on Sunday when St. Anthony’s will serve it’s 35th millionth meal. The Dining Room, also known as “The Miracle on Jones Street”, has been serving the hungry and homeless since 1950. In the wake of this economic downturn, the line at St. Anthony Dining Room has grown longer and is graced with the new faces of poverty. While St. Anthony’s celebrates its dedication and service to the poor of San Francisco with the 35th millionth meal, we continue to address the root causes of hunger and homelessness.
