On Inauguration Day, Mayor-Elect Daniel Lurie and His Family to Volunteer to Serve Breakfast in St. Anthony’s Dining Room

WHAT: For 75 years, St. Anthony’s has provided warm meals 365 days per year to San Franciscans in need. On inauguration day, St. Anthony’s will welcome Mayor-Elect Daniel Lurie and his family who will volunteer to serve breakfast including fresh-baked pastries, coffee, and most importantly enjoy community and connection with those most in need.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Volunteering to serve breakfast from approximately 7:45 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. (Doors open at 7:00 a.m. for coffee and homemade pastries)
WHERE: St. Anthony Foundation Dining Room, 121 Golden Gate Ave. near Jones Street, First Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102
WHY: As an organization inspired by 800-plus-year-old Franciscan values, St. Anthony’s believes that every day, we’re called to uplift the most vulnerable among us with the dignity and respect that each person deserves. Much more than a meal, St. Anthony’s is the most effective, accessible one-stop resource in the Tenderloin providing integrated, whole-person care. Services include warm meals 365 days a year, free clothing and showers, medical care, behavioral health services, residential addiction recovery for men, peer support, job training and jobs.
