St. Anthony’s to Host Inaugural Leading the Way Awards Celebration to Honor Community Leaders

Recognizing Exceptional Individuals and Organizations that Improve the Lives of San Franciscans in Need
St. Anthony’s, committed to providing pathways to stability for the most vulnerable San Franciscans, will host its inaugural Leading the Way Awards Celebration to honor organizations and individuals whose vision and service make our community a better place to live. Presented in partnership with the San Francisco Business Times at the Westin St. Francis Hotel, the celebration will recognize three honorees for their exceptional commitment and dedication to uplifting our community through service, advocacy, or collaboration. Proceeds will benefit St. Anthony’s mission to feed, clothe, heal, shelter, and lift the spirits of our neighbors in need.

AWARD RECIPIENTS:
Emerging Leader: Joey Toboni created the Affordability Project, a nonprofit that is building affordable housing for teachers, health care workers and other local middle-income individuals. He also serves on multiple nonprofit boards and as a mentor through Big Brothers, Big Sisters. As managing principal of the Toboni Group – Residential, he oversees 50-plus employees.
Leading The Way: The San Francisco Giants baseball team is deeply committed to identifying, developing, supporting, and raising awareness for people, issues, and programs that are important to the team’s fans and local communities.
Community Partner: The Golden Gate Chapter of the National Charity League, Inc., chartered in 2018 has quickly grown into a force for empowering future women leaders through community, service, leadership and cultural connections.
