Hunger Action Day 2017
On Wednesday, May 24th, our community at St. Anthony’s set out to Sacramento for Hunger Action Day. The morning of, we woke up at 6am and drove a bus full of guests, volunteers, and staff to the capitol. Throughout the day, people from all over California shared their stories of experiencing hunger and supported one another in advocating for a fair state budget that addresses issues of hunger and poverty. Overall, we had a great day and are hopeful that hunger will cease to exist in our community. See pictures from Hunger Action Day and learn more about our advocacy initiatives here.
