A Model of Joy in Service

Today we honor the memory of Rene Rodigou, who passed away this week surrounded by family.

A native San Franciscan, veteran, and family man, Rene started volunteering at St. Anthony’s in 1997 and never looked back. We estimate that Rene poured more than three million glasses of juice for our Dining Room guests in his time here.

We wouldn’t be able to serve San Franciscans in need without volunteers like Rene. He was a model of joy in service and an inspiration to us all—he will be dearly missed.
