What is Hope?
Hope.
What is hope? Is it a childish wish or maybe a kind of unsure optimism?
Perhaps, but also much more. Hope is an energy that goes far deeper than just willpower and the desire to succeed.
It’s more fundamental. Some call it faith, optimism, or a positive perspective, but its the deeply held belief in the vision or that one’s potential can be realized. You can touch the hope in yourself and it can sustain you through hard times.
But hope is an energy that goes deeper than just willpower and it affects us as community as well as individually. Its fundamental.
You can touch your own hope to sustain you but when you share hope in community we become a powerful and unified voice for positive change.
Hope is just the beginning. It’s the seed that energizes us to keep going until a way is found. Action follows. Without action, there will be no movement forward. It’s a matter of rediscovering hope, embracing it and taking the needed steps that produce results. And around St. Anthony’s guests, client, staff, volunteers and visitors share in in abundance.
