Who We Are
The St. Anthony’s Young Professionals Council (SAYPC), founded in March 2015, is a passionate, action-oriented group of young professionals dedicated to organizing volunteer efforts, fundraising initiatives, and community events to support St. Anthony’s mission. By mobilizing this next generation of leaders, SAYPC brings fresh perspectives to reshape the conversation around poverty and homelessness in San Francisco.
Expectations
We’re always on the lookout for individuals passionate about helping San Francisco’s most vulnerable residents. An ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in collaboration, bringing creativity, diverse skills, and experiences to work alongside like-minded change-makers. Whatever your background or expertise, your unique skills can help advance SAYPC’s mission!
As a SAYPC member, you commit to:
- Attending monthly meetings at 150 Golden Gate Ave (second Tuesday, 6:00-7:30 p.m.) and leading one meeting annually
- Volunteering 1-2 shifts quarterly with St. Anthony’s
- Leading or co-leading one annual fundraising event/initiative
- Making an annual donation of any amount
- Leveraging your network to build partnerships between St. Anthony Foundation and other organizations
- Serving for a minimum of one year
