A vision for better eyecare

This January our medical clinic received over 400 pairs of high quality adult glasses, courtesy of Prevent Blindness Northern California. “We wanted these to be put to good use and St. Anthony’s Medical Clinic provides a variety of vision services…we couldn’t think of a better partner to ensure the glasses go to those in need,” said CEO Seth Schalet.

This generous glasses donation is a saving grace for many low-income and homeless San Franciscans, as eyewear is generally a luxury, not a norm. “Our guests often find the cost of glasses to be expensive and many times, go without”, said our Executive Director, Barry Stenger.
