A Giving Legend!

When we hear someone described as “A Living Legend”, most of us know realize this person as really remarkable, like say, Mohammed Ali, the champion boxer. What about a “Giving Legend”? We’ve got Giving Legends in spades here at St. Anthony’s! All those who donate to us, whether it be through giving their time as volunteers, or those who give us financial support are surely the Giving Legends of St. Anthony Foundation!

And one of the most remarkable qualities of our “Giving Legends” is that this is a renewable source of energy; even a source that multiplies itself! Again and again, we hear how the volunteers feel rejuvenated and uplifted themselves by giving service; and even how our guests and clients participate in this reciprocity by giving support, appreciation, and very often–good humor!

Our world is certainly struggling with so many challenges, some enormous and intricate such as renewable energy, but it’s great to be reminded by our very own “Giving Legends” how we can & do really work to renew each other!
